Celebrating Isaac's birthday this year was different, in that we weren't with our "Seattle family" but we were with family. Since it was a couple weeks prior to moving into our house, we had a party at Nana & Papa's, and fortunately it was a gorgeous day. Isaac requested a "new-be" cake...not a surprise since he is his favorite pal these days. Although not what I expected to be decorating for my 5-year-old, I was determined not to disappoint him on his special day!

For some reason...Isaac wanted red yarn for his birthday. Don't ask. No idea (but he was very excited!). And then he proceeded to walk around the entire house leaving a red-yarn-trail!
